توصلت الدراسة، بشقيها النظري والتطبيقي، إلى عدد من النتائج، من أهمها: ارتفاع كفاءة الأداء المؤسسي لهيئة السوق المالية
السعودية في ظل الظروف العادية وهذا يتضح من ارتفاع جميع المؤشرات التي تعكس هذا الأداء منذ بداية عمل الهيئة في منتصف عام 2004م وحتى نهاية عام 2007م، ولكن مع ظهور الأزمة المالية العالمية وتزايد حدتها، حدث تدهور ملحوظ في كفاءة الأداء المؤسسي للهيئة، وهذا ما اتضح من خلال انخفاض معظم المؤشرات التي تعكس هذا الأداء خلال عامي 2008ـ2009.
وحيث إن الأداء المؤسسي لأي هيئة يعد محصلة لنتاج أعمال هذه الهيئة في ضوء تفاعلها مع عناصر بيئتها الداخلية والخارجية، ومع الأخذ في الاعتبار الاهتمام الكبير من قبل مسئولي الهيئة بتطوير بيئة العمل الداخلية والحرص على تطبيق أحدث النظم والمداخل في العمل والتوسع في التطبيقات التكنولوجية الحديثة والاستعانة بالكفاءات البشرية، وعدم حدوث أي تدهور في بيئة العمل الداخلية خلال فترة الدراسة، فقد تبين أن الانخفاض الملحوظ في كفاءة الأداء المؤسسي للهيئة خلال عامي 2008ـ2009 يرجع بالأساس للتغيرات التي طرأت في بيئة العمل الخارجية للهيئة ممثلة في الأزمات المالية والاقتصادية وتدهور أسعار النفط وانهيار عدد من أسواق المال العالمية، وهذا يؤكد تأثر الأداء المؤسسي لهيئة السوق المالية
السعودية بالتغيرات البيئية.

The study, in both its theoretical and applied parts reached to number of results, including: high efficiency of the institutional performance of the Saudi Capital Market Authority, under normal circumstances and this is clear from the prices of all the indicators that reflect performance since the beginning of the work of the Commission in mid-2004, and until the end of 2007, But with the advent of the International; financial crisis and the increasing intensity, there was a marked deterioration in the efficiency of the institutional performance , and this is what became clear during the fall of most of the indicators that reflect performance during the Period 2008-2009. As the institutional performance of any institution is the result of the product of the work of this institution in the light of their interaction with the elements of its internal and external environment, taking into account the great interest by officials of the development of the internal work environment and ensure the application of the latest systems and approaches to work and expand the applications of modern technology and the use of competencies human and the absence of any deterioration in the internal work environment during the study period, it was shown that the significant decrease in the efficiency of the institutional performance of the Authority during 2008-2009. This decrease due mainly to changes in the work environment of Foreign Affairs of the representative **** in the financial and economic crises and the deterioration of oil prices and the collapse of a number of financial markets world, and this confirms affected institutional performance of the CMA environmental
